About the Journal

Land, Crops & Environment is an open-access scientific journal, edited by the Universidad Agraria del Ecuador (UAE), with a semiannual frequency and a continuous publication model. It is aimed at researchers, academics, professionals, and students, both national and international, interested in agricultural sciences and related disciplines.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous evaluation process conducted by national and international peer reviewers with recognized experience, demonstrated through indexed scientific publications. Reviewers are external to both the Editorial Committee and the publishing institution, ensuring impartiality throughout the review process.

The journal publishes original and unpublished contributions that are not simultaneously under consideration by other journals. Areas of interest include Agricultural Sciences, Forestry Engineering, Agro-Industry, Agricultural Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences, and Rural Development, among other fields related to scientific research in the agricultural and rural sectors.

Manuscript submissions are accepted year-round. The journal does not charge fees for manuscript processing or publication. All editorial management is carried out directly and transparently by the editorial team, under the auspices of the Universidad Agraria del Ecuador.
