About the Journal

Land, Crops & Environment is an open-access scientific journal, edited by the Universidad Agraria del Ecuador (UAE), with a semiannual frequency and a continuous publication model. Its objective is to disseminate original and unpublished research that contributes to the advancement of scientific and technological knowledge in the field of agricultural sciences and related disciplines.

The journal publishes research articles, reviews, short communications, and technical notes on topics such as agronomy, soil science, crop science and plant protection, agro-industry, animal production, agricultural economics, agroecology, agricultural technologies and innovations, and information systems applied to agriculture. It is intended for researchers, faculty members, students, extension professionals, and specialists in the agricultural sector at both the national and international levels.

The editorial process of Land, Crops & Environment adheres to high standards of quality, academic ethics, and double-blind peer review, ensuring the scientific rigor and originality of the works published. All articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which allows open access, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that appropriate credit is given to the authors and the original source.
